ENCOUNTER STUDENT MINISTRY

Encounter exists to help middle and high school students grow in their relationship with Jesus, build authentic friendships, and discover their God-given purpose. Through biblical teaching, worship, prayer, and community, we strive to create a welcoming environment where students can encounter God, feel accepted, and be encouraged in their faith journey.

WHAT WE DO

Encounter Youth provides a place for students in grades 6–12 to connect with God, build authentic friendships, and grow in their faith. Through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, games, and special events, students are encouraged to discover their purpose and develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

We believe students are not just the future of the Church—they are an important part of it today. Our desire is to help young people build a strong foundation of faith, navigate life's challenges through a biblical perspective, and become lifelong followers of Jesus who influence their schools, families, and communities for Christ.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Encounter Youth is designed for students in grades 6–12 and provides a welcoming environment for students from all backgrounds. Whether you're new to church or have grown up in church, you'll find engaging worship, biblical teaching, small group discussions, games, fellowship, and opportunities to serve and grow as a leader.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

WEEKLY GATHERINGS
Students gather each week on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM in the Lifecoast Family Center for worship, biblical teaching, games, fellowship, and small group discussions designed specifically for middle and high school students. It's a place to build friendships, grow in faith, and encounter God alongside other students.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year, students can participate in camps, retreats, outreach opportunities, and special events designed to deepen friendships and strengthen faith.

SERVING & LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Students are encouraged to discover and use their gifts through serving, leadership development, and opportunities to impact others for Christ.
