Whether we know it or not, our values in life dictate our behavior.  And just like people churches have values as well.  Some churches and some people are intentional about understanding and expressing their values and some are not.  But whether we know and understand our values or not they play a big role in our choices.  Our choice in what we do, who we do it with and, whether we realize it or not in the church we choose to attend.  Churches are as unique as people, and if our values do not line up with the values of a church we might attend or visit, we will not feel like we fit in there.  For this reason, we at Lifecoast Church are intentional about laying out our values right from the start. The following is a list of our top 5 core values;

Love God. Love People.

To be a culture that draws people to Christ through genuine relationships.

They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. - Acts 2:46-47

Choose Joy. Celebrate People.

To be intentionally looking to bring “life” into every situation and to every person that God brings into our sphere of influence.

So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”;  the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.                   - 1 Corinthians 15:45

Forgive Yourself. Forgive Others.

To demonstrate the receiving and giving of God’s unconditional love.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. - 1 Peter 4:10

Pursue Purpose . Equip Others.

To be always learning, growing and preparing for the next door God is about to open.

… live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,  - Colossians 1:10

Make Friends. Share Jesus.

To be intentionally advancing God’s Kingdom in all areas of life; home, family, business and recreation.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  - Matthew 28:19
